Role Summary
We are seeking a high-performing, entrepreneurial Business Manager to operate at the intersection of execution, growth, and leadership. This role is designed for someone with the vision and operational rigor to drive day-to-day results, while preparing to evolve into a future C-level executive (CEO, COO, or General Manager).
The Business Manager will lead all core functions —from sales and operations to strategy and product execution— with full autonomy and accountability. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Co-define long-term vision, OKRs, and corporate strategy alongside the founders.
- Own the company’s operating plan, ensuring alignment between execution and strategic growth.
- Oversee P&L and budget management; optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
- Prepare and lead board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising documentation.
- Act as company spokesperson in key industry forums and partnerships.
Business Operations & Growth
- Lead all business units (sales, operations, customer success, product rollout) with minimal supervision.
- Design and optimize operational processes and cross-functional workflows for scalability.
- Implement and manage business dashboards and actionable KPIs.
- Ensure service delivery, compliance, and customer excellence in every vertical.
Commercial Strategy & Account Management
- Drive B2B sales cycles end-to-end: prospecting, demoing, negotiation, and closing +$100K annual deals.
- Maintain and grow enterprise accounts through high-touch service and strategic upselling.
- Develop tailored implementation and support plans for key clients.
- Monitor client satisfaction through NPS and translate feedback into process improvements.
Technology & Systems Oversight
- Administer full SaaS lifecycle: platform configuration, cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and integrations via APIs.
- Liaise with product and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and adherence to SLAs.
- Supervise the use of CRM and business tools for forecasting, pipeline tracking, and conversion optimization.
Growth & Marketing Execution
- Formulate Go-to-Market strategies for new regions or verticals.
- Execute and iterate growth experiments across acquisition channels (paid, organic, referrals, events).
- Lead performance-driven marketing initiatives and measure CAC:LTV, ROI, and engagement KPIs.
