As a Sales Hunter at Abacus IT, your primary responsibility will be to drive new business growth by identifying and securing new clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting, and closing sales with a focus on Managed IT Services. B2B sales, particularly within the IT industry.
Identify and target potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods. · Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. · Conduct discovery meetings with prospects to understand their IT needs and challenges. · Present and demonstrate the value of Abacus IT’s services, including Managed IT
Services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and more. · Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. · Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new clients. · Attend industry events and conferences to expand your network and stay current on market trends. · Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: · Proven experience as a Sales Hunter, Business Development Representative, or similar role in the IT services industry. · Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market. · Strong understanding of Managed IT Services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and related technologies. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. · Ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at all levels. · Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a passion for sales. · Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
